Description: Readers Theatre is a hit with older performers. Using a written script, actors read lines while seated or while moving around the stage. Either way, readers theatre opens up a world of materials. Learn basic techniques that you can use to make sure your readers theatre program is a success. Join Bonnie L. Bio: Bonnie Vorenberg (B.A., M.S. Theatre) is a nationally recognized expert and pioneer in Senior Theatre who is known for groundbreaking work as a teacher, director, speaker, and author. As President of ArtAge’s Senior Theatre Resource Center,, the central location for plays, books, and information, Bonnie has the pulse on the field. Bonnie is a founding member and served on the Advisory Council for Senior Theatre USA and is a Past Chair and current Conference Planner for the Senior Theatre Focus Group for the Association of Theatre in Higher Education. Most importantly, she’s been a teacher all her life! Cost $100.
