What is the Senior Learning Network About?

We know it may be difficult to understand what the Senior Learning Network is all about as we are changing the face of older adult learning.  We have pulled several of our favorite clips to provide a quick overview of the type of learning that takes place every day on the Senior Learning Network.

Though the Cleveland Museum of Art produced this clip, it effectively displays how a senior center enjoys the programs.  Click on the picture below.

John Knox Village enjoyed a remarkable video conference comparing FDR and Harry Truman.  This conference was tailored especially for John Knox Village.

The Senior Learning Network is all about learning, we provide interactive lifelong learning from these types of sites and much more.  Do you have a senior who would enjoy presenting; we would love to have them on the network.  Does your center enjoy book discussions, let’s do it virtually with a center in another location.  Does your staff travel for professional development you can do that virtually.  All of this and much more is available on the Senior Learning Network!

Remember your first video conference is always free with no obligation to continue.

We love this quote by Henry Ford, “Anyone who stops learning is old whether at twenty or eighty.  Anyone who keeps learning stays young.  The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.

We would like you to join us on our journey in lifelong learning!  Please email or call us with any questions.  You are encouraged to register free on the Senior Learning Network.  The 500 programs are being updated nearly weekly so join this remarkable organization.
